Sandy Berger: Socks & Docs Thief to Plead Guilty

Sandy Berger, who stole government documents in his socks, will plead guilty on Friday, according to the Department of Justice.

Berger to Plead Guilty to Taking Materials

Former national security adviser Sandy Berger will plead guilty to taking classified material from the National Archives, a misdemeanor, the Justice Department said Thursday.

Berger is expected to appear in federal court in Washington on Friday, said Justice spokesman Bryan Sierra.

The former Clinton administration official previously acknowledged he removed from the National Archives copies of documents about the government's anti-terror efforts and notes that he took on those documents. He said he was reviewing the materials to help determine which Clinton administration documents to provide to the independent commission investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks.

He called the episode "an honest mistake," and denied criminal wrongdoing.

Taking a cue, perhaps Bill Clinton can apologize for his entire presidency as "an honest mistake."

Announcement from Joobo: Time for a Little Vacation

It is time for Joobo to announce that, starting tomorrow, I will be taking some time off, to relax and meditate, and to take a holiday from the devastating effects liberals are having on the world.

Until I return, remember that I will be keeping my eye on these dangerous bastards called liberals.

Your friend,

British Lowlife Thief Gets Injured, Rapes British Taxpayers

You heard it here first: some British lowlife breaks into a warehouse, and during a robbery falls through the roof to the ground, injuring himself. He was arrested, right? He spent time in prison, right? Wrong! He sued the company which owned the warehouse, and won - get this - more than £560,000 pounds...about $1.1 million dollars. And he brags that he will buy "houses and a flash[y] car" with this money.

I'll buy houses and a flash car, says yob awarded £567,000

A teenage criminal who received £567,000 in compensation after falling through a roof while trespassing boasted about his wealth yesterday, saying that he was looking forward to buying "a few houses and a flash car".

Carl Murphy, 18, got the payout last week, nine years after being injured in a 40ft fall at a warehouse in Bootle docks, near Liverpool, prompting angry protests from crime victims and politicians.

In his first public interview since receiving the award, Murphy - who has convictions for robbery, burglary and assault - said that he did not care about the response.

"I deserve this money and I don't care what anybody says about me," he said. "I'm going to buy a big house so I have a place to live with me mum when she gets out of jail. I might buy a few houses - I'll buy whatever I want." He added: "The papers just call me a yob and a thug because I've been done for robbery and assault but those were just silly stupid little things, like.

"I want to spend my money the way I want without people interfering and I want to have a prosperous future.

Now we know the effect liberal judges are having in Great Britain. They have already fucked up America - the rest of the world is next.

UN Chief Crook Kofi Annan Announces “Sweeping Reforms” for the Disgraced World Body

Disunited Nations Chief Thief Kofi “That Bundle in My Pocket is Oil for Food Money” Annan announced today that he would call on the world body to reform itself through a series of measures meant to broaden the UN’s appeal and to make it run a helluva lot better than it has since it was founded.

To this end, here are just a few of the wonderful and fascinating reforms that Annan plans on foisting delivering to the UN General Assembly and Security Council:

A new “Human Rights Council” will be formed to oversee human rights in the world. Although the UN has been criticized for placing such upstanding countries as Libya and Cuba on the old human rights committee, now it will place such countries as the Sudan and Iran on the panel, just so some new faces can be seen.

Making sure Iran gets a nuclear weapon before Evil Israel stops them, the Jew bastards.

Elevating France to controlling the entire Security Council. This way, Jacques Chirac definitely can have the final say over American foreign policy.

Outlawing Israel. They don’t matter anyway.

Condemning democracy in Iraq. That shit needs to be stopped soon, or something good could happen there.

Giving full immunity to the Secretary General and any of his thieving relations caught stealing, pilfering, or taking things (including money) not belonging to them.

Oh, and Mr. Kofi wants a nice new limo. Stretch. With leather seats. Not like that 5 year old piece of shit he currently is forced to ride around in.

Kofi Annan: Making the United Nations a more worthless place than it already is.

Leslie Gelb: The Democrats Could Use Their Own Dick Cheney

Liberal thinker Leslie Gelb, of the Council on Foreign Relations, tells Democrats straight up that their party is a disaster on the issue of national security, and instead of mocking Vice President Dick Cheney they should be finding a similar statesman amongst their midst. And while he also has the usual liberal rants on Cheney, he does caution his party that they need to do something in this arena, and fast:

Cheney Envy; The Democrats could use someone like the vice president

The Democrats need a Dick Cheney, especially on foreign policy.

That is not to say they need someone who let U.S. forces march off to smash Saddam without a plan to win the peace, or someone whose contempt alienated our closest allies needlessly. Nor does it mean that the Democrats don't also need a Karl Rove to forge a coherent political strategy. They need one like him, too. But to put themselves back on the road to reality in thinking about foreign policy, they have to have a hard-head like the vice president.

Dick Cheney sees the dark side of the world, a reality that largely eludes Democrats but not most Americans. He understands power and knows how to wield it, as opposed to the soft-power prose of intellectual Democrats. And the vice president does a decent job of keeping the fractious Republican foreign-policy forces in line, while Democrats fly off in all directions.

As colleagues attest, Mr. Cheney harbors a bleak view of humankind, especially of Democrats and non-Americans. While well aware of American hypocrisies, he conveys the clear sense that other countries are worse, much worse. He condemns those countries that condemned us for unilateralism in Iraq, while themselves failing to enforce fistfuls of U.N. resolutions against Saddam. He reminds others who harrumph now over what we're doing in Iraq that they hardly ever criticized Saddam's monstrous behavior. A lot of Americans just feel safer with a guy who will stick up for America, hold other countries to account, and talk about the world realistically.

Some liberals realize the danger their party is in. Most, however, don't have a clue.

Abortion in Britain: `We Can't Go On As We Are'

While America tussles with how abortion will be ended in this country, other nations collide with similar problems. Take Britain, for example, where abortion has been legal since 1967. Now steps forward Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, who writes in today's Sunday Times of London that something must be done to change the abortion law in his country:

People are starting to realise we can’t go on as we are

For a large majority of Christians — not only Roman Catholics, and including this writer — it is impossible to regard abortion as anything other than the deliberate termination of a human life. Whatever other issues enter into the often anguished decisions concerning particular cases, they want this dimension to be taken seriously.

Equally, though, for a large majority of Christians this is a view which they know they have to persuade others about, and recognise is not taken for granted in our society. The idea that raising the issues here is the first step towards a theocratic tyranny or a capitulation to some neanderthal Christian right is alarmist nonsense.

One of the confusions that has arisen in the past week is the idea that we are somehow going to be swept up into a British rerun of the US election of 2004, with a moral conservative panic dictating votes. It’s far from clear that this is what happened in America; and even if it were, we are a long way from any comparable situation here.

The plain fact is that no party has made, or is likely to make, commitments on this matter as part of a set of its electoral pledges. No party has given the least indication that it would seek anything but a free vote on any related question. For all the parties in this country, this has always been a matter of conscience. In other words, while constituents may take the opportunity of questioning individual candidates on their attitudes, they will not find a consistent pattern that follows party lines.

But — a large but — all the party leaders have admitted in various ways that they are far from happy with our abortion law as it stands. Former defenders of the law, even David Steel, who piloted the 1967 act through parliament, have expressed real dismay at many aspects of what the act has made possible. And in the country at large, not least among young people, there is a groundswell of distaste about it.

Some of this is to do with sheer statistics. A rising number of abortions means a rising number of — at best — tragic and humanly costly options. But the advance of technology has also reinforced anxieties. Whether it is a matter of evidence about foetal sensitivity to outside stimuli (including pain), the nature of foetal consciousness, or the expanding possibilities of saving early foetal life outside the womb, the trend is inexorably towards a sharper recognition of the foetus as a natural candidate for “rights” of some kind.

In light of this, it is a lot harder to reduce the issue to an individual’s right to choose. And this is not something said primarily by patriarchal clerics, but increasingly by women, and young women at that. The clear assumption that the availability of abortion was a basic element in the agenda for the dignity of women is by no means universally obvious. A good few see it now as another triumph of impersonal, even abusive, technology.

The ruling last week on Joanna Jepson’s appeal about the legality of abortion for a cleft-palate condition turned on a fine legal balance of probabilities, but it did nothing to take forward the questions that agitate many about specifying more carefully the nature of the “serious” conditions that might justify termination.

Christians are likely to feel, a little wryly, that it is strange for them to be appealing to others to do a bit of moral reflection on the advance of science. And they will want to ask: granted this cannot be an election issue in the sense of being a matter of manifesto policy, what sort of an issue is it going to be? Where and when can our legislators as a body think through where we are and what needs to be taken into consideration about this? The idea of a commission has been floated and is worth thinking about further. Questions to parliamentary candidates might be a useful way of opening up some public debate (even if this is not a matter of settling electoral preferences) but the debate needs to go much wider. Some serious work remains to be done about legal matters (the difficult issue of rights) and about the nature, authority and implications of research around foetal consciousness.

Of course, if you begin from the conviction at the beginning of this article, the whole thing is a good deal more urgent. But even if that is not a shared conviction there is more and more of a shared unhappiness and bewilderment around our law and its effects. It would be a real failure if agreeing that it was not an electoral issue provided an alibi for taking it seriously as a public issue. It is worth pondering, with an election in prospect, just what happens to those questions that are not party matters yet are public matters of immense weight.

It happens that abortion has emerged as potentially one such matter; but there will be others. The challenge is about how we keep faith with the seriousness of such questions, and resist the pressure either to make them partisan or to shelve them respectfully and indefinitely.

I posted the whole article in case the original is removed by The Times.

What is incredible here is that someone is finally realizing that technology is what will do in the alleged "right to an abortion." Liberals, however, still hold onto the old and discarded way of thinking. In issue after issue, that is how they continue to stand.

Police Capture Syrian Terrorists in Arizona Illegally Crossing the Border from Mexico

I missed this story, too - until I saw it under an AP headline which read "Two Arabs Caught with Mexican Illegal in Arizona." And where was the American media to report this story - that two Syrian agents crossed into the United States from Mexico? What were these two Syrians here for - to play pinochle in Las Vegas?

Syrians caught; in U.S. illegally

TUCSON - A federal grand jury Wednesday indicted two Syrian men on charges of impersonating U.S. citizens after Border Patrol agents stopped them in southern Arizona and found an undocumented Mexican immigrant in their car.

According to a criminal complaint, Ala Salem Mamoud Al-Kurdi and Mohamed Tamman Nakchgandi, both citizens of Syria, were pulled over by Border Patrol agents on Feb. 18 on Arizona 86, a highway that runs through the Tohono O'odham Nation, a vast reservation southwest of Tucson.

In the back seat of the Cadillac, driven by Kurdi, agents spotted a Mexican man who later admitted to crossing the U.S.-Mexican border illegally three days earlier, according to Border Patrol reports. Kurdi and Nakchgandi, the passenger, said they were naturalized U.S. citizens born in Syria, but agents found they were in the country illegally, according to court records.

Oh, yeah - US citizens always cross the border illegally from Mexico. Happens all the time!

What frightens me is that this may have happened already - with al Qaeda terrorists planning on doing another 9/11. But what is worse is that The Arizona Republic headlined this story as "Syrians caught; in U.S. illegally." It should have read "Two Potential Syrian Terrorists Nabbed Trying to Enter the US Illegally."

Sickening.

Your Average Anti-War Moron at Work

It is frightening just realizing the stupidity level of liberals.

Howard "Aaaaarrrggghhh!" Dean Says: Republicans are `Brain Dead'

Howard Dean, noted fruitcake and current chair of the Downtrodden National Committee, told a group of fellow Downies in Toronto that Republicans are "brain dead" yet somehow failed to explain how his silly party was beaten in three straight elections by a party that is brain dead. One should then ask said Mr. Dead, er, Dean: "If the Republicans are brain dead, how come you keep losing to them?"

Spreading the message

"Keep it simple" is the key to the White House, failed Democratic presidential candidate Howard Dean told members of his party from around the world last night.

One major reason his party lost the 2004 race to the "brain-dead" Republicans is that it has a "tendency to explain every issue in half an hour of detail," Dean told the semi-annual meeting of Democrats Abroad, which brought about 150 members from Canada and 30 other countries to the Toronto for two days.

"I'm going to be very disciplined about how we deliver messages. We can have policy deliberations in rooms like this. On TV, we have to be very focused."

The Democrats, in fact, will try to copy the Republicans, who are masters at making their message stick, he said. "The Democrats will have three things, maybe four, that we're going to talk about."

When Dean says he will "copy the Republicans," he means that they will start with trying to shut down the government like the GOP did in 1998. What happened at that time, you ask? Republicans losts seats in the 1998 midterm election, one of the few times the party in control of the White House won seats in the 6th year of a presidential administration.

That Howard Dean can raise money is undisputed. That he is a fucking idiot and a raving nutcase is also undisputed.

Columnist Paul Greenberg Says: John Kerry is a Liar and a Fraud

Columnist Paul Greenberg, who followed the career of Bill Clinton for many years in Arkansas and is a liberal writer, has the goods on John Kerry: The Massachusetts Downie is a fraud and a liar, and Greenberg knows it:

John Kerry, inventor, wizard

To allow oil drilling in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge or not? It is an easy question for Senator John F. Kerry . . . because he's magic!

Magic in what way, you ask? Perhaps you fail to understand the wonders that Mr. Kerry would have performed had he been elected president last fall. For starters, America would probably already be energy independent under a President Kerry.

If you're having trouble accepting this, don't fret. You're probably just not attune to wizardly ways. Perhaps you don't believe in magic. You might have some distrust of Washington politicians. For goodness' sake, you could even be so suspicious of power that you support the system that the powerful almost always oppose, free enterprise.

To Kerry and his fellow wizards and magicians, that means you're a muggle.

What does all this talk of wizards and muggles have to do with drilling for oil in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge? Plenty. Kerry has helped lead the fight against drilling in ANWR because he has a better solution.

Many who support drilling think of ANWR as a much better place to drill than off the coast of California or Florida or in downtown Manhattan or in your back yard. But in a column for Outside Magazine, Kerry writes, "Like many incomparable treasures of the West, ANWR sounds desolate, uninhabited." That could be because ANWR is 19 million acres and very few people live there or anywhere close.

But Kerry points out there are caribou and bears and birds there. "The environmental risks of drilling in ANWR are devastating," he says. Now I know you're thinking that the caribou have been cited before as a species that would be hurt by oil drilling and the pipeline. And that hurt hasn't materialized . . . despite a very big pipeline bisecting the Last Frontier.

Still, when those with a crystal ball warn something is risky, who are we to argue?

Every one of Kerry's ridiculous arguments against drilling for oil in ANWAR are taken apart piece by piece by Greenberg.

That no one other than Greenberg has managed to do this is why the mainstream media in America has sided with the illogical left and has no desire to oppose anything those whackjobs say or do.

The NYT: Caught Telling Its Dimwitted Readers Only Half the Story

The New York Times has become, in the last 20 years or so, one of the worst American newspapers where someone can go to find objective stories or even the truth. The Jayson Blair scandal, the lies of Paul Slugman Krugman, the hilarious falsehoods of Maureen Dowd, and the sheer sickening anti-Bush bias of the paper's so-called "opinion page" have made the Times a veritable laughingstock when it comes to American journalism.

So when this kind of story comes out, and it appears in The Times, one must approach it with a sense of "let me read this, but let's see if I get the whole story, or just another liberal lie-fest." And if you took the latter stance, you would find that The Times does it again - it tells you one of their stories to make President Bush look bad, but buries the truth somewhere way down into the story. Check this out and see what I mean:

Under Bush, a New Age of Prepackaged TV News

It is the kind of TV news coverage every president covets.

"Thank you, Bush. Thank you, U.S.A.," a jubilant Iraqi-American told a camera crew in Kansas City for a segment about reaction to the fall of Baghdad. A second report told of "another success" in the Bush administration's "drive to strengthen aviation security"; the reporter called it "one of the most remarkable campaigns in aviation history." A third segment, broadcast in January, described the administration's determination to open markets for American farmers.

To a viewer, each report looked like any other 90-second segment on the local news. In fact, the federal government produced all three. The report from Kansas City was made by the State Department. The "reporter" covering airport safety was actually a public relations professional working under a false name for the Transportation Security Administration. The farming segment was done by the Agriculture Department's office of communications.

Under the Bush administration, the federal government has aggressively used a well-established tool of public relations: the prepackaged, ready-to-serve news report that major corporations have long distributed to TV stations to pitch everything from headache remedies to auto insurance. In all, at least 20 federal agencies, including the Defense Department and the Census Bureau, have made and distributed hundreds of television news segments in the past four years, records and interviews show. Many were subsequently broadcast on local stations across the country without any acknowledgement of the government's role in their production.

It sounds like President Bush invented this program to get around the news media, right? At least, that's what this story leaves you with. However, unless you read wayyyyy down into the story, you will have missed this vital piece of information:

The practice, which also occurred in the Clinton administration...

Ah, so...it all started during those wild and woolly days of Bill "Get Yer Top Off Now!" Clinton. Bush is only continuing it.

Once again, half a story from The Times.

But to The Times, that is not a lie...it is a half-truth.

More liberalspeak.

Liberal Political Legend Found to Have Fucked America Over

When it comes to Downtroddens, everything they stand for (which ain't much) comes down to three things: abortion, raising taxes, and making sure Social Security stays right where it is. The first one was not accomplished until the 1970s, but for Downies the second and third came about pretty much during the reign of King Franklin I - Franklin Delano Roosevelt, who ruled from 1933 to 1945. Before he keeled over in his bean salad, Frankie took control of the US government and melded it into a mishmosh of programs and agencies which have literally crept into every square inch of the lives of the American people. But for liberals, Roosevelt's name is mentioned only among such far-left luminaries as Margaret Sanger, Fidel Castro, and Che Guevera...Stalin seems to be a bit on the outs lately. Say anything about Roosevelt, goes the liberalspeak mantra, and it better be good; don't be saying nothing bad about ol' Franklin D. Roosevelt.

So how must it feel when two UCLA economists discovered that the one person who caused the Great Depression not to end earlier than usual but in fact extended it because of his ridiculous programs was...Franklin D. Roosevelt himself:

FDR Responsible for Prolonging - Not Ending - Great Depression, Say UCLA Researchers

Two UCLA economists say they have figured out why the Great Depression dragged on for almost 15 years, and they blame a suspect previously thought to be beyond reproach: President Franklin D. Roosevelt.

After scrutinizing Roosevelt’s record for four years, Harold L. Cole and Lee E. Ohanian conclude in a new study that New Deal policies signed into law 71 years ago thwarted economic recovery for seven long years.

“Why the Great Depression lasted so long has always been a great mystery, and because we never really knew the reason, we have always worried whether we would have another 10- to 15-year economic slump,” said Ohanian, vice chair of UCLA's Department of Economics. “We found that a relapse isn’t likely unless lawmakers gum up a recovery with ill-conceived stimulus policies.”

In an article in the August issue of the Journal of Political Economy, Ohanian and Cole blame specific anti-competition and pro-labor measures that Roosevelt promoted and signed into law June 16, 1933.

“President Roosevelt believed that excessive competition was responsible for the Depression by reducing prices and wages, and by extension reducing employment and demand for goods and services,” said Cole, also a UCLA professor of economics. “So he came up with a recovery package that would be unimaginable today, allowing businesses in every industry to collude without the threat of antitrust prosecution and workers to demand salaries about 25 percent above where they ought to have been, given market forces. The economy was poised for a beautiful recovery, but that recovery was stalled by these misguided policies.”

Using data collected in 1929 by the Conference Board and the Bureau of Labor Statistics, Cole and Ohanian were able to establish average wages and prices across a range of industries just prior to the Depression. By adjusting for annual increases in productivity, they were able to use the 1929 benchmark to figure out what prices and wages would have been during every year of the Depression had Roosevelt’s policies not gone into effect. They then compared those figures with actual prices and wages as reflected in the Conference Board data.

Read the whole story - it uses facts and figures to show that the Depression was extended, not shortened, because of Roosevelt's near-sighted policies.

So, the next time you are having an argument with another dense liberal, and their retort is, "Franklin D. Roosevelt saved this country from economic destruction!" whip out this story and watch their eyes bug out as they read it. And if they don't have a heart attack, be prepared to be called names, told that you are a hater of a poor man in a wheelchair, and hate America, too.

But the eyes bugging out part is something I wish I could see all day long.

Downie Voter Fraud Exposed in Wisconsin

The Downtrodden Party has been bellyaching since John Fruitpie Kerry (D-Teresaspocket) lost the presidential election in November 2004 that, somehow, the Republicans got so much fraud and thievery that Kerry really would have won had not Bush stolen the damn thing. For Downies, this is their way of saying, "Our guy was cheated!"

Adding to this, Downies in the US Senate - the few that still exist - are forever pushing, scratching, and mumbling about a new law they want to pass which will cut down on voter fraud. Nice, eh?

Now comes this small story - wholly ignored by the MSM, as usual - about massive voter fraud in Milwaukee, where, according to a newspaper report, more people voted than exist in the county where Milwaukee sits - not to mention that more than 9,000 votes could not be adequately found to have been properly cast.

82 felons voted in Nov. 2 election

At least 82 felons voted illegally in the presidential election Nov. 2 in Milwaukee, though the total is likely far higher, a new computer analysis by the Journal Sentinel has found.

Indeed, there are more than 600 potential matches between felons on probation and parole and names and middle initials of people who voted in the city. But a full analysis could not be completed by the newspaper because of a 2003 state law that bars access to birth dates of voters.

The newspaper, though, was able to do a partial analysis by combining several computer databases to capture birth dates for about 39% of those who voted in the November election.

That showed at least 82 votes by felons, who are not allowed to vote until their probation or parole has been completed.

Illegal votes by felons are part of an investigation into possible voter fraud in the city.

U.S. Attorney Steven Biskupic and Milwaukee County District Attorney E. Michael McCann launched the investigation after the Journal Sentinel revealed major problems. Those included 1,200 votes from invalid addresses; 7,000 more ballots cast than people later recorded as voting by the city; and 1,300 same-day registration cards that could not be processed because of missing information.

John Kerry won Wisconsin by 11,000 votes. So, if 9,000 votes were by felons, dead people, same day voters (Downie-speak for "get them homeless drunks in to vote!") and others just in Milwaukee alone, God knows how many Kerry votes should be excluded. 1%? 2% 5%? 10%? The possibilities are endless.

So, if Downies want to crack down on voter fraud, they better watch out, or a major percentage of their vote may vanish forever.

Good News From the Axis of Journalistic Evil: The BBC is Cutting 1,500 Jobs

I have said it before, and I say it again: the BBC of the United Kingdom is without a doubt one of the worst purveyors of anti-Semitic and anti-American drivel and swill in the world with the sole exception of al-Jazeera - and it ranks just below CNN in the United States, which propogates a pro-terror and pro-liberal bias for its rapidly decreasing viewership.

So when I hear that one of these three has serious financial trouble and must fire thugs employees who work for them, I can only raise my hands to the sky and shout with glee:

BBC 'will cut 1,500 extra jobs'

The BBC is to cut about 1,500 jobs in news and other programmes over three years, it has been claimed.
Complex plans were approved by the corporation's governors and later director general Mark Thompson met the three broadcasting unions.

In leaked details, a senior source said these cuts would be on top of those already planned. Unions have said they will fight the cuts.

The BBC has declined to comment before an official announcement on Monday.

BBC governors approved plans to make 15% budget savings in the meeting with management on Thursday to discuss Mr Thompson's plans for the corporation's future.

Now, here is the question I have regarding this wonderful story: why is the BCC announcing these layoffs by saying "it is claimed"? Doesn't the BBC know what the BBC is doing? Or didn't one arm of the BBC, the pro-terror, anti-Israel, anti-Semitic, pro-Palestinian and anti-American news side, not talk to the chiefs in their ivory towers?

Whatever it means, this is definitely a sign of the BBC's increasing problems. May they fester and grow day by day.

Ouch...Iraqi TV Shows Reality All Right - Nabbing and Exposing Terrorists One By One

The BBC, one of the so-called "journalistic triad of pro-terrorism thought" along with CNN and al-Jazeera, from time to time posts some interesting stuff - I have to admit. Even though they lard it down with such nonsensical liberal bias, nonetheless this story comes through loud and clear: the Iraqi people have had it with terrorists and their murdering ways, and are enjoying seeing these scumbags twist in the wind in a new reality program on Iraqi television:

Iraqi 'justice' by television

Looking cowed and frightened, a young man, identified by his full name and sitting directly in front of the camera, is being bullied and browbeaten by an interrogator who remains out of the picture.

"By what authority did you do these things?"

"Sir, they led us astray with their fatwas and offering us money."

"Do you realise that everything you did is perfidy?"

"Yes, sir."

"This Mullah Mahdi who gave you fatwas is a dog. He is scum. I'll get him within 72 hours and put him on TV, God willing."

"God willing, sir."

Ibrahim confesses to involvement in a series of attacks, and abducting and killing Iraqi policemen, national guards and others.

He says he was paid $100 (£52) per operation by his commander, or emir, who, he says, is homosexual.

Ouch! A gay terrorist? That appears to make even San Francisco nervous, or would it?

Anyway, this very interesting program on al-Iraqiya television is greeted warmly by the Iraqi people - but, as the BBC notes, invokes "unease among foreign observers who see it as an echo of the ousted Baathist regime's discredited practices."

I don't remember - did Saddam Hussein have a daily program on showing his brutality, or the hundreds of thousands of people who were raped and butchered?

I would only wish this show were exported to America. We could see thugs and criminals and assorted lowlives being questioned on camera before they are hauled away in the paddy wagon. Now THAT would be exciting television!

WashTimes: The "Dull Harry" Reid "Block Everything in the Senate" Strategem is FAILING

I warned Senator "Dull Harry" Reid, Leader of the Really in the Minority Party, the Downtroddens, in the US Senate, that his party's "we intend to block all Senate business" strategy was bound to fail. After all, it failed for Newt Gingrich and the GOP in 1998 (they lost seats in an off-year, 6th presidential year election) - and it shows how dumb Downies are that they would deign to follow a losing strategy.

Nonetheless, never let it be said that Downies do the smart thing.

Reid strategy called 'desperation'

Republican officials privately say they hope Democrats pursue their planned strategy of shutting down the Senate over judicial filibusters, comparing it to the politically disastrous government shutdown by House Republicans almost 10 years ago.

Republicans have muted their official responses to this week's threat by Minority Leader Harry Reid to halt almost all Senate business if Republicans force their way around the filibusters against President Bush's judicial nominees.

But behind the scenes, party officials were giddy.

"The fact that they refuse to acknowledge the results of the last election and block President Bush's agenda shows absolute desperation on their part," said Brian Nick, spokesman for the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC). "Liberal special-interest groups spent millions to defeat President Bush, and they lost. Now they're only left with these silly tactics."

Republicans also eagerly were waving around a new poll released yesterday showing that 81 percent of registered voters think "well-qualified judicial nominees" deserve an up-or-down vote on the floor of the Senate.

"Judicial nomination battles are winning issues for Republicans," said Republican pollster Whit Ayers, who conducted the poll of 800 voters for the Judicial Confirmation Network.

I can only hope and pray that Dull Harry and His Band of 43 Misfits in the US Senate carry out their threat and shut the government down. I believe that his party will be punished in 2006 as the GOP was in 1998. And Downies can least afford that kind of slap.

Barbara Boxer Admits That 51 Votes Are Needed for Judicial Confirmations in the US Senate

Senator Barbara Boxer (D-Dumbshit), perhaps one of the dumbest persons alive to sit in the US Senate, let slip the truth the other day when a group of moronic Downies (including KKK Master Bobby Tyrd of West Virginnie) went before a group of Moore-on.org dummies and slathered all over their boots to appeal to the far far left of the Downtrodden Party. Now, to understand what Boxer said you have to examine what Downies have been saying as of late, including Tyrd: that the "Senate rules" allow a supermajority of 60 votes to confirm judicial nominees. Of course, those Senate rules can be changed - see the nice little letter I got from Senator "Floater Ted" Kennedy (D-Chappaquiddick Drowning and DUI Club) - but Tyrd, in his "Republicans are Nazis" speech said that if these rules were changed that it was Hitler-like and unconstitutional.

Well, this leads up to Boxer, who admitted that to keep that little 60 vote rule in effect, the Downies could use a constitutional amendment:

Why would we give lifetime appointments to people who earn up to $200,000 a year, with absolutely a great retirement system, and all the things all Americans wish for, with absolutely no check and balance except that one confirmation vote. So we're saying we think you ought to get nine votes over the 51 required. That isn't too much to ask for such a super important position. There ought to be a super vote. Don't you think so? It's the only check and balance on these people. They're in for life. They don't stand for election like we do, which is scary.

This is courtesy of radioblogger.com, who captured the Boxer and Tyrd speech on C-SPAN.

What is hilarious here is that Downies want a constitutional amendment when they do not control the House or Senate, or any committee where such an amendment could be brought up for a vote.

Funny how when Downies controlled Congress they thought nothing about such things. Now that they are in the Incredible Shrinking Minority, this is their lead issue. Figures.

Global Warming: It Cannot Be Stopped!!!

OMIGOD! It's gotten 1 degree hotter in the last 100 years, and now, according to some scientists, there is nothing - nothing - that we can do to stop global warming.

So, since there is nothing we can do about it, let's just enjoy things until the end of the world, as liberals keep predicting will happen. And let's stop worrying about that Kyoto Protocol shit, okay?

No Stopping Global Warming, Studies Predict

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Even if people stopped pumping out carbon dioxide and other pollutants tomorrow, global warming would still get worse, two teams of researchers reported on Thursday.

[...]

Virtually no one disagrees human activity is fueling global warming, and a global treaty signed in Kyoto, Japan, aims to reduce polluting emissions. But the world's biggest polluter, the United States, has withdrawn from the 1997 treaty, saying its provisions would hurt the U.S. economy.

More crappola from liberals and their dimwitted buddies in the MSM. "Virtually no one disagrees" is the same as saying "there are people who disagree, but we dumb liberals find their opinions to be opposite of ours, and since we are smarter than everyone else we have to show no regard for them."

Many scientists say that warming of the atmosphere is a cyclical action - it comes, it goes. Tree rings from tens of thousands of years ago show that there once was a similar period of global warming - before that period ended and the earth cooled.

We may be in that same kind of period now. Maybe 100 or 500 or 1,000 years from now the Earth will cool and there will be "global freezing." And our descendants at that time will look back on the liberals who cried chicken little now and say, "I wish those dumb liberals would have just shut their damn mouths and let nature take its course."

Once Again, Australia Comes to the Side of America

I said it before and I say it again: there is only one country in the world outside America that sides with America, time and time again, and yet America never did anything for it - never sent it billions of dollars it will never see (unlike Europe), never had to send soldiers to save it from radical lunatics (unlike Europe - in two wars), and yet this country seems to side with America and send troops to fight side by side with Americans. Which country is this? Australia, of course. And Prime Minister John Howard, no matter his faults, is one of the great world leaders currently serving.

This feeling I have for the Australian government and the Australian people is only reinforced when I see a story like the following:

Australia won't rule out replacing Italian troops quitting Iraq

SYDNEY (AFP) - Prime Minister John Howard refused to rule out sending more Australian troops to Iraq after Italy's surprise decision to pull its 3,000 soldiers from the war-torn country.

Australia announced last month that it would deploy an additional 450 soldiers to southern Iraq to help protect a Japanese humanitarian project and train Iraqi troops after the withdrawal of 1,400 Dutch military from the area.

That decision was opposed by most Australians and Howard came under sharp questioning in parliament Wednesday over whether he would again boost the number of Australian troops in Iraq to fill the gap left by the Italian pullout.

"We don't have any current plans to increase that number, but I cannot rule out some changes in the future and I don't intend to do so," Howard said, adding that Australia had received no requests for more troops.

Foreign Minister Alexander Downer earlier had described the chances of more deployments to Iraq as "highly unlikely".

"We don't have any intention of sending any further troops to Iraq at this stage," he said.

Italy's contingent was the fourth largest in Iraq after those from the United States, Britain and South Korea.

Now, Howard may decide not to send more troops. But for him to not rule it out, for him to even consider doing more while the Italians do less and the French and Germans do nothing is one reason why Americans should salute John Howard of Australia as a true statesman.

CNN: Poor, Poor "Ward" Churchill...Let's Feel Sorry for the Pro-Terrorist Lowlife!

As I have said before, CNN is part of the "triad of journalistic pro-terrorism evil" in the world - along with the BBC and al-Jazeera. Whenever terrorism is perpetrated anywhere in the world - particularly when it hits Americans and/or Israelis (or American Jews - now there's a "two-fer"!) - these three networks either show the reasons why this happened and why the poor terrorists are just misunderstood, or, in the case of the last two of the triad, actually demonstrate a bias towards and for the terrorists themselves.

So it is not at all surprising when Phony Indian and Marxist nutjob
"Ward" Churchill, outed as a slimy, filthy American hater and terrorist sympathizer, gets good press from CNN - which instead should be known as The Ted Turner Fake News Network in Last Place in the Ratings (TTFNNILPIR).

Check out this sickening bio on Churchill from our friends at Turnerwhackoville:

Embattled professor won't back down

BOULDER, Colorado (AP) -- Stacks of papers sit on a sun-drenched table in the home of University of Colorado professor Ward Churchill, some full of praise and others full of dark threats and unprintable insults.

In one message, liberal scholar Noam Chomsky calls Churchill's achievements of inestimable value, while an e-mail in another pile warns: "If you ever come to Florida, I will personally bash your (expletive) brains in."

This is Churchill's new life: Since January, he has been at the center of a firestorm over free speech for likening some September 11 victims to Adolf Eichmann, a Nazi architect of the Holocaust. The governors of two states have called for his ouster and two attorneys with a Denver radio show have spent weeks compiling data they say proves Churchill is a rotten professor at best, a seditionist at worst.

In a two-hour interview with The Associated Press, Churchill, 57, said he won't back down as the school investigates him to see if he can be fired. But he wearily acknowledged the uproar now dominates his life and makes it difficult to focus on his job as a tenured professor of ethnic studies.

"I'm struggling desperately to be able to deliver to my students what they signed up for," Churchill said, slumped in a chair and chain-smoking Pall Malls. "All of my time is devoted to responding to gratuitous (expletive). Every day there's a new idiocy."

"Ward" should know about "new idiocy" - he practices it every day.

Why this man is working at a university teaching mostly uneducated boneheads about politics and turning them into fellow leftwing nutjobs is beyond me. I would deport him, but to where?

THIS DAY IN DOWNTRODDEN PARTY HISTORY...

March 17, 1995: In the White House, President Bill Clinton fondled two secretaries whose breasts he found extremely lovely. This came as he was speaking with Russian President Boris Yeltsin in an attempt to head off sending American troops into Bosnia. In the US Senate, Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont) picked his nose in a committee hearing.

Please stay tuned for our next installment of: THIS DATE IN DOWNTRODDEN PARTY HISTORY!

A Lovely Letter from John Kerry to Little Old Me

Like his fellow Downie "Chappaquiddick Ted" Kennedy this past week, fellow Massachusetts Senator and treasonous piece of shit John Kerry, whom, according to some (I don't believe it), was actually running for President of the United States last year, sent me a lovely letter. Downies are so fucked up in DC that when they lose a vote, they claim victory because - get this - a lot of leftwing losers signed a petition. Understand liberal logic? If you have a vote and lose, it is okay because we have a lot of people out there who care that we tried to win. And, according to Kerry, there are a grand total of 260,000 of these leftwinglosers - out of a country of 250 million+.

There's no link to this letter, but I had to post it here anyway. How lovely for Mr. Kerry to write to me of his incredible success in Washington!

Dear ______,

Yesterday, we saw a relentless Republican attack on one of our most treasured natural wonders sneak through the Senate on a 51 to 49 vote. But, we also saw more than 260,000 Americans act in less than 24 hours to add their names to our Citizens' Roll Call in favor of protecting the Arctic Refuge.

[Big fucking deal, Mr. Kerry. You lost the vote - who gives a rat's ass that 260,000 losers signed a petition?]

It was the first time ever that I or anyone else could stand on the Senate floor and announce that, in a day's time, a quarter of a million Americans had gone online to express their passionate support for a given course of action.

[But you LOST the vote, numbnuts! Isn't that what matters to you leftwing fools anymore?]

That awesome display of grassroots power rattled our opponents.

[Yup! They were so rattled that they passed drilling in ANWAR despite your big listing. That's what happens when you continually lose seats in Congress.]

They even railed against my e-mail message on the Senate floor and entered its text into the Senate record.

[And made you look like an utter fool, which you are. I read your laughable "petition" and signed it myself: with the name JOHNKERRYSUCKS. Howzat?]

So, think of it this way. The Republican leaders of the Senate have 51 reasons to celebrate today, but you and I have 260,000 reasons to do the same.

[Once again, twisted liberal logic. "Hell, we lost the vote, but we have a list of 260,000 fools in this country." That is called "liberal progress."]

If we keep working together - committed pro-environment Senators and a powerful grassroots movement all pulling in the same direction - we can still stop the plan for drilling in the Arctic from making it the rest of the way through Congress. And we can win the larger battle over two very different visions of America's energy future.

[Wait - do you mean you have the votes in the House to stop this? Really? And here I thought Republicans controlled that body. My bad.]

George W. Bush and the Washington Republicans have a plan to sell off our public lands to powerful special interests.

[And give cheaper energy to the American people - and stop us from continually being a hostage to the likes of thugs like Hugo Chavez of Venezuela.]

As a result of their ruthless drive to undermine America's most beautiful natural treasures, the oil rigs are closer to the Arctic Refuge than they have ever been.

[Oooooooh....oil rigs are closer than they have ever been! Downies used these same scare tactics against all drilling anywhere, and up until now they used their votes to block any hope of getting to natural resources. But no more!]

But, the Bush administration's own scientists and economists admit that the Republicans' plan will not make us less dependent on foreign oil and will not lower prices at the pump. We have to put America's energy future in the hands of Americans - by inventing our way to real energy independence and having energy sources that create jobs and lower prices.

[I can see how the Downies are "inventing our way to real energy independence" - they had some leftwingimbeciles invent an electric car which doesn't operate like gas-driven cars. Keep up the good work, Downies!]

With your help, we will continue to wholeheartedly resist their special interest-funded partisan agenda.

[Senator Kerry: You need more than "the help" of people. You have only 45 seats in the Senate - which means you control shit. You need to win seats - and, with Sarbanes and Dayton retiring, it looks like that idea is dead for 2006 as well!]

And, if we act with the same energy and determination as we have on this critical Arctic Refuge vote, sooner than later, our power and commitment will carry the day. I know you will be with me every step of the way and I thank you for the passion and energy that you bring to our work together.

Sincerely,

John Kerry

P.S. I told you that more than a quarter of a million people signed our Citizens' Roll Call in the first 24 hours after we launched it. Actually the news is even more impressive. As of this moment, there are over 400,000 signers to our Roll Call, including tens of thousands who signed after the vote to express their determination to keep fighting. Let's keep working.

So, John Kerry got 400,000 leftwing megalomorons to sign his silly petition - and it scared the Republicans in the Senate so much that they went out and passed the drilling for oil in ANWAR - just like they passed bankruptcy reform and tort reform without the votes of Downies.

The Downies in the Senate and House continue to delude themselves that they make any difference to the lives of the American people any more. All they do is say nothing, do nothing, and stand for nothing.

Mexican Dimwit Fox: Don't Try to Prevent Illegal Immigration

Vicente Fox of Mexico, who could have been a bright leader for his country but turns out to be just another crooked Mexican politician who doesn't give a shit about relations with the United States, once again has put his foot into his mouth, and has said that the United States is "wrong" for building a wall to keep out the waves of illegal aliens flooding our country's borders.

Fox ridicules U.S.-Mexican border walls

MEXICO CITY -- Mexican President Vicente Fox has denounced border walls the United States is building to stem illegal immigrants, the Washington Post reports.

"No country that is proud of itself should build walls ... it doesn't make any sense," Fox told a Mexico City news conference. "We are convinced that walls don't work."

He said it was impossible for Mexico to post military or police patrols along the entire border to prevent crossings.

"We can't keep them against their will by force," he said.

Last month, the U.S. Congress voted to waive environmental regulations and allow completion of a fence along the border south of San Diego.

Of course Fox denounces any attempt to keep illegal aliens away from the US. After all, Fox has all his poor people who can't get work or anything else cross into the US where they get free health care and drivers' licenses - and they send millions of dollars back to Mexico. What a way to get rid of people and their problems and foist them on another country too stupid to do anything about it! It is a free ride that needs to end now, whether or not Mr. Fox likes it or not.

Canada Allows Palestinian Fanatics to be Exempt from Committing Hate Crimes

You've heard it right: in Canada, that frozen fucking hole of a nation run by liberals, if you speak out against a minority it is a hate crime...unless you happen to be a Palestinian, and the minority you speak about is an Israeli. Oh, and you can say that Israelis can be targeted for terrorism.

Only in Canada, or any other shithole run by liberals.

Saying Israelis are 'legitimate targets' not a hate crime

Police have decided not to charge a controversial Muslim leader under Canada's hate-crime laws for suggesting on a television talk show last fall that all adult Israelis are "legitimate targets" for Palestinian terrorists.

Investigators with Halton Region police said that while the comments by Dr. Mohamed Elmasry "were described by many as [a] hate crime," they did not meet the legal definition.

"Although the comments would be considered distasteful to many, in this context they do not constitute a criminal offence," police said in a news release. "The comments were made during a free-flowing discussion between subject-matter experts who were encouraged to express their opinions openly on a topic of significant public interest."

Dr. Elmasry, a University of Waterloo professor and president of the Canadian Islamic Congress, drew widespread public condemnation last October for telling a television panel discussion that all Israelis over the age of 18 could be targets for attacks by Palestinians because they are all members of the country's army.

We need one Israeli or Canadian Jew to stand up and say that if Palestinians do not have peace with Israel then Israel should take the Palestinians and deport them all to Jordan, or Lebanon. Now, that is not advocating violence, but I bet the Canadian Muslims have a cow, and the Canadian government hypocritically prosecutes the person for committing a hate crime.

Canada is a shameful nation. Everytime I think of the place I want to take a shower.

The Death of Liberalism in America: The Weekly Round-Up

It's time for more evidence that 1) Liberals hate America, and 2) liberalism is dying its natural and (Thank God!) expected death.

The dummies at DowntroddenUnderground (DU) post, without a doubt, some of the most insane and ridiculous nonsense ever posted by alleged adults. At least I think they are adults - most of them sound like a bunch of brain-damaged 12 years olds with nothing to do but fry ants and play with themselves. Now and then we post links to their utter hilarity and insanity...but this one takes the cake! First a boob posts that "the sun is setting on America," and then his or her fellow numbnuts and assclowns slap each other on the back with "Yeah!" and "How right you are!" and "You are right America is dying!" So if you want a good belly laugh, check out this shit from the fearsome liberals:

The Sun is setting on America

We are well into 2005 and you can almost see no problems with America... on the outside.

Talks of Secession from both sides. Liberals feel cheated (Justified) and Christian Fundamentalists feel Persecuted (Paranoid).

Sham Elections. Who maintains the machines our nation uses to vote? Republicans, and not only that one of the type of voting machines are really easy to hack into too. 18181

Extremists such as Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell have a louder voice in the Government than the common man. They are taking Greed and Bigotry and turning it into Moral Values.

Our nation's Infrastructure is crumbling. I live in the suburbs of Central Ohio and I can remember several times when the water was not safe to drink.

The media. There are no words to describe that twisted vortex of confusion that is dragging America down into Chaos. America, if we wish to salvage something, we have to reform the media.

The Sun is setting on the United States of America as our nation is in the Death throes of the end of Democracy. We aren't a Democracy, big Corporations, the Wealthy, and the Christian Right are the only ones who have a true voice in the government now.

What's going to happen in the coming months and years? I don't know, but Freedom is definitely on the March... away from America.

I can't even comment on these psychos. But do remember that they make up a good 70-80% of what is known as the Downtrodden Party in America.

American Terrorist Sympathizer Dies, and Her Parents Sue the Israelis

Nope, this is not a made-up headline - it is really happening as we speak. The scumsucking parents of American Terrorist Sympathizer (ATS) Rachel Corrie, who was killed when, during a protest shielding Palestinian terrorist scum she ran in front of an Israeli bulldozer and was crushed to death, are now suing Israel because their daughter got flattened.

Try not to laugh at this one.

Rachel Corrie's family sues Israel, IDF

The family of Rachel Corrie, a pro-Palestinian activist killed by an Israel Defense Forces bulldozer in Rafah two years ago, sued the State of Israel and the IDF for damages in the Haifa District Court on Tuesday.

The 24-year-old Corrie was killed on March 16, 2003 when she tried to block an IDF bulldozer from demolishing a Palestinian house near the Philadelphi Route, the strip of land in the Gaza Strip bordering Egypt.

An IDF investigation ruled the incident was an accident and that the driver did not see Corrie, and the military prosecutor's office decided not to press charges in connection with Corrie's death.

Corrie's parents, brother, and sister, who are represented by Umm al-Fahm attorney Hussein Abu-Hussein, argue Corrie was killed despite the fact that she was wearing bright clothing and had identified herself as an activist with the pro-Palestinian International Solidarity Movement.

The family has asked for $324,000 in damages. I say this: if the Israeli court does not want to dismiss this ridiculous lawsuit, I would award the parents 1 cent - the value of their daughter to the human race. Actually, she was worth far less.

Rachel Corrie, the "innocent" fucking lunatic who was killed when she stepped in front of a bulldozer. Boo-fucking-hoo. May she rot in the hell she is in.

The Lebanese Love Us, Even If Liberals Don't

I'll explain that headline soon - but in the meantime, democracy and free speech are breaking out all over except in places liberals are in control, like Europe and Canada.

More than half a million people rallied for freedom in Lebanon yesterday, and Claudia Rossett (of the WSJ) covered it for the NY Sun. Check out some of the quotes she picked up, highlighted here in black:

Million Lebanese Stage Massive Retort to Terrorists

BEIRUT - Flags fluttering, horns honking, and fingers flashing V for victory, Lebanon's opposition converged on downtown Beirut yesterday in the biggest democratic protest in the history of the modern Middle East.

Their numbers - about a million strong - were a retort to the rival protests staged last week by the terrorist group Hezbollah, and a message to each other and the world that the Lebanese people are serious in their demands for - as the crowd chanted over and over - "Freedom, Sovereignty, Independence."

They want Syria's Baathist regime out of Lebanon. They want to know who plotted the bombing on February 14 that killed the former prime minister, Rafik Hariri, which most blame on Syria. And what they have already achieved is that after years under Syria's shadow, they have regained their dignity. The colors of the movement are those of the Lebanese flag, reflecting its red and white stripes and green cedar tree. And those colors are everywhere - in the red-and-white ribbons, scarves, and bandannas, on balloons, kites, banners, posters, and even the form-fitting clothing favored in this most Bohemian of Arab capitals.

What these protesters repeated in interview after interview, in a Martyr's Square so packed with people that it was, at times, almost impossible to move, is that they want war and repression to end. They want peace, work, and, most immediately, they want Lebanese democratic self-rule - not Syria's jackboot version of "stability." "We have children here," said housewife Goumana Fayad, who attended the demonstration with her two teenage sons. "We want them to be educated to live in peace."

Among the most promising aspects of this opposition movement is the extent to which it has brought together disparate factions, namely Christians, Sunni Muslims, and Druze. Previously, the democratic opposition was predominantly Christian. Hariri was a Sunni Muslim. His assassination has galvanized Lebanon's Sunni community, which made a strong showing at yesterday's demonstration, many with entire families in tow. From 18-year-old Sara Abou Abdo, wearing a silver headscarf, came the comment: "All Lebanon has to be free to take their decisions on their own, and all people should come to favor freedom."

Many of the demonstrators want the free world to keep a spotlight on Lebanon right now. That tack may be their best chance for keeping both Syria and the pro-Syrian, Iranian-funded Hezbollah at bay. Lebanon is currently the focus of intricate diplomatic maneuvers by both America and the United Nations aimed at pressing Syria to comply with last year's U.N. resolution 1559, which requires that all Syrian troops and security forces leave Lebanon and that the militias disarm, a clause that points straight to Hezbollah. So far, Syria has dragged its feet, and Hezbollah remains armed.

In recent weeks, both President Bush and Secretary of State Rice have often urged Syria's speedy departure and lent support to Lebanon's democratic protesters. That's a notable departure from U.S. policy over the past generation, which, under the banner of supporting the status quo, gave a nod to Syria's chokehold on Lebanon. It was not until 2003, as Mr. Bush prepared to overturn the Middle East apple cart by overthrowing Iraq's Saddam Hussein, that America began to describe Syria's presence in Lebanon as an "occupation." More recently, in keeping with Mr. Bush's post-September 11, 2001, doctrine of promoting democracy rather than simply "stability," so long favored in the Middle East, the White House has been telling Lebanon's democrats that America will keep its faith with them.

In Beirut yesterday, it was clear that message has been heard. Unlike the Hezbollah demonstrators with their chants of "Death to America," many in the crowd were friendly to Americans. "Thank's Free World," (sic) said one poster, held high by a woman in a bright red jacket, Rawya Okal, who told me: "We thank Mr. Bush for his position." Overhearing this in the throng, a middle-aged man in a green baseball cap, Louis Nahanna, leaned over to say, "We love the American people" - adding, "Please don't let Bush forget us. Your support is very important."

Asking more people what they thought of Americans turned up the same refrain. From a young driver, Fadi Mrad, came the message: "We want to change. We need freedom. Please don't let Bush forget us." From a group of young men came not only the message "Our hope is America," and "We believe in democracy in the Middle East," but also praise for Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz. There was also an invitation from one of them, young Edgard Baradhy, for his heroine, Ms. Rice, to come to Beirut "and I am ready to take her for coffee."

At one point, two young men sitting on a sidewalk mistook this reporter for a Frenchwoman, and called out "Vive la France!" The European nation's president, Jacques Chirac, has also come out in support of the democratic movement. When I told them that I was American, they got to their feet and came over to say, "Welcome to Lebanon."

Incredible. And the Downtroddens in America keep asking why the world allegedly hates America. The world doesn't hate America - only fucked up liberals do.

Former Vice President's Role in Mel Gibson Film to be Cut?

Poor, poor Al Gore - the scumbag, crook, thief, and former Condom Holder for Bill Clinton (he was also Vice President), is allegedly having his role in the Mel Gibson film "The Passion of the Christ" cut to smithereens. Hell, I didn't even know Poor Al was in the film in the first place, until I read this:

Gibson Resurrects 'The Passion' with Less Gore

Mel Gibson is releasing a recut version of his controversial film "The Passion of The Christ" in Britain over Easter to lure moviegoers who stayed away from the original because of excessive gore.

Oh - I see now. Gibson is cutting gore from the film, not "Al Gore."

My mistake. You can now continue with your regularly scheduled repast.

"Krazy" Mfume: He Wants Your Vote

If you live in Maryland, you have had to tolerate the incessant mumblings and rantings of Frizzell Gray, who changed his name - and his hairstyle to match - to "Kweisi Mfume," which means "I am a crazy motherfucker" in Swahili. He should have changed it to "Krazy" Mfume, because as a congressman or head of the NAALCP, the National Organization for the Advancement of Liberal Colored People, he has been an outspoken jerkoff. Now, as Senator Paul Sarbanes of Maryland announces that he will not run for re-election in 2006, Mfume says he will run for the open seat. Mfume almost has to, or the seat could go to the GOP like the governorship did.

Study Shows MSM More Negative on Bush Than Kerry in 2004 Election

A new study shows that the mainstream media (MSM) pushed far more anti-Bush stories than anti-Kerry stories, despite the Swift Boat Vets stories:

Study Shows U.S. Election Coverage Harder on Bush

U.S. media coverage of last year's election was three times more likely to be negative toward President Bush than Democratic challenger John Kerry, according to a study released Monday.

The annual report by a press watchdog that is affiliated with Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism said that 36 percent of stories about Bush were negative compared to 12 percent about Kerry, a Massachusetts senator.

Only 20 percent were positive toward Bush compared to 30 percent of stories about Kerry that were positive, according to the report by the Project for Excellence in Journalism.

The study looked at 16 newspapers of varying size across the country, four nightly newscasts, three network morning news shows, nine cable programs and nine Web sites through the course of 2004.

So, aside from Fox News, the mainstream media pushed a decidedly negative anti-Bush agenda. Despite this, Bush won anyway.

Like the Downtrodden Party, the MSM in America is making itself more and more irrelevant to the lives of ordinary Americans.

Carville et al.: Democrats are "Stuck in Concrete"

The big story this past week is that Dem mass murderer-look alike James Carville, fresh from his "Kerry Done Blew It 2004" Campaign, is doing some polling for his group The Democracy Corps - and what he finds does not bode well for his side.

Some excerpts from their report (in PDF):

RE: SOCIAL SECURITY; A Time for Democratic Purpose and Renewal

This ought to be the Democrats’ moment, as the president’s Social Security proposal crashes against the wall of the public’s deep doubts. Support for the president’s proposal has fallen to 36 percent and perhaps even lower, depending on question wording. Worse for the president, 40 percent of voters strongly oppose his plan, rising to 63 percent among seniors. Congressional Democrats are now winning voters over 45 years
by 12 points, according to the NPR survey, after faltering badly among aging voters just 4 months earlier. But Bush’s plan is not that popular with younger voters who divide evenly on it.

So, we ask progressives to consider, why have the Republicans not crashed and burned? Why has the public not taken out their anger on the Congressional Republicans and the president? We think the answer lies with voters’ deeper feelings about the Democrats who appear to lack direction, conviction, values, advocacy or a larger public purpose..

[...]

But perhaps these judgements seem frozen because the Democrats just have not emerged as a serious alternative on security and safety, values, opportunity and prosperity,
or the national interest.

[...]

Democrats have hesitated to say there is a problem with Social Security, despite the fact that 63 percent of the country says the program is in crisis or faces a major problem. Only a lonely one in ten voters thinks we are fixing a problem that is a half century away. To say there is no problem, simply puts the Democrats out of the conversation for the great majority of the country that want political leaders to secure this very important government retirement program. Voters are looking for reform, change
and new ideas, but Democrats seem stuck in concrete.

Of course, Carville and his band of dimwits come up with every excuse why the Downies should continue their obstructionist ways - and they might believe that their own crap smells like lilacs. But if memory serves me well, in the 1990s the Republicans put a halt to any business on Capitol Hill to stop Clinton's plans, and the 1998 and 2000 elections nearly cost the GOP their control of Congress.

Downies blocking things is not new. Downies being warned quietly that that kind of shit won't work is.

Euro-peons: The Tsunami was the Fault of...the United States! Yeah! That's the Ticket!

The old adage states that if you can't sue someone with large pockets, find someone who does have them and sue their pants off, even if they have no fault in the matter. So it goes with Euro-peon morons who allege - get ready for this one - that the United States had an obligation to warn the world about the impending tsunami which killed 250,000 people. An "obligation" you say? How can the US warn everyone when it gets the information as quickly as it can? And when countries in the area refused to institute a similar warning system years ago? Could it be that these Euro-peons can't sue Thailand or Indonesia or Sri Lanka because they are poor countries (or would get laughed out of court), so they decide to sue the United States?

Tsunami Survivors Sue Warning Center

HONOLULU — Tsunami survivors and relatives of victims have sued the federal agency that operates the Pacific Tsunami Warning Center, alleging the center did not do enough to warn people about the disaster.

The lawsuit was filed last week in New York federal court by a plaintiffs group that includes at least 58 European survivors and family members of victims.

The U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration's Pacific Tsunami Warning Center monitors seismic and ocean conditions in the Pacific Basin and issues warnings to member nations. It is based on the Hawaiian island of Oahu.

NOAA officials refused to comment on the complaint but have previously said the center was not set up to warn nations outside the Pacific rim.

A Dec. 26 earthquake caused the massive tsunami that killed at least 166,000 people in 11 countries on the Indian Ocean.

Last week, a judge in New York threw out "war crimes" claims of Vietnamese who alleged they were exposed to Agent Orange. Let's hope there is a judge out there who throws this ridiculous lawsuit in the same direction - into the shit pile.

"OMIGOD! Here comes a tsunami! Quick! Let's sue the United States for not warning us here in Thailand! Let's hire a lawyer! Hurry!"

A Message to Joobo from Floater Ted

The Democrats do love me! "Chappaquiddick Ted" Kennedy, famed in song and story for his ability to rape and kill women and get away with it, has sent me, Joobo, a darling little missive in which he tries to get me off my butt to give one whit about anything Downtroddens do...and while there is no link (this is an e-mail, for God's sake!), I have inserted some rich comments into the body (in bold):

Dear Friends,

The Senate Democrats are the only line of defense against George Bush's effort to pack our federal courts with reactionary right-wing judges who will roll back the fundamental constitutional rights that Americans in states across the country value the most in our free society.

[And the Downies are so good at not following the Constitution, either!]

Now, our very ability to block the confirmation of these ideological judges is in jeopardy.

[Yikes! Do you mean something will be done about Downie stonewalling? Wow!]

Republican Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist has arrogantly threatened repeatedly to rewrite the long-standing Senate rules and eliminate the filibuster rule, the basic procedure to prevent a narrow Senate majority from running roughshod over the rights of the Senate minority.

[Pure bullshit coming from the King of Bullshit. Frist wants to end non-stop filibusters when Downies use them only to block votes on judicial nominees, not end the filbuster. Tubalard Ted knows this but doesn't want his sheeple readers to.]

The Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee (DSCC) has launched a new petition against this extraordinary power grab. I urge you to add your support to this important campaign.

The Constitution clearly gives the Senate the power to establish its own rules, and those rules require at least 60 votes in the 100-member Senate to stop a filibuster and end debate. They also require 60 votes to change the rules.

[Thanks, Ted, for reminding us that the Constitution allows the Senate the power to establish its own rules. So if Frist does this, is it constitutional, as you just admitted, numbnuts.]

But Senate Republicans refuse to play by the rules. They claim they only need 50 votes to shut off a filibuster and they intend to force that rule change through the Senate if they possibly can. It's a shameful example of tyranny of the majority.

[Sorry, Tubby, but the Senate can MAKE their own rules. A majority can do this. You are no longer in the majority. So shut up and sit down if you can!]

In fact, this tactic would be such an unprecedented upheaval for the Senate that it is called "the nuclear option." It will obviously make it more difficult for Senate Democrats to block even the most extreme judicial nominees, including future nominees to the Supreme Court. It will give Senate Republicans a rubber stamp for any of President Bush's judicial nominees, no matter how extreme they are.

[Once again, Tubby lets you in on the truth: "will obviously make it more difficult for Senate Democrats to block even the most extreme judicial nominees..." This is because Downies are in the MINORITY in the US Senate. Get it? The MINORITY.]

That's why the DSCC started its new campaign against the nuclear option. I urge you to join with them today.

By signing on to the DSCC's campaign, you will be strengthening the only realistic line of defense we have in the Senate against Republican efforts to pack the courts with judges who threaten to turn back the clock on the basic rights of millions of our fellow Americans.

[Yup. Help the Downies continue to block things in the Senate. Help the Downies do nothing, and continue that plan.]

The vast majority of President Bush's judicial nominees have been confirmed by the Senate. Only a very few have been defeated by a filibuster. Apparently, losing just a small percentage of the time has so angered the Senate Republicans that they are willing to jettison two centuries of Senate history to advance their narrow ideological agenda. We can't let this happen.

[More crud from Tubby. "A very few"? How about 10, Tubby?]

Please join the DSCC today and tell the Republicans that you oppose the so-called "nuclear option." It's the most effective way for you to help Senate Democrats continue the fight to keep the most extreme judges off the federal courts. We know what's at stake and we're not willing to give up all of our hard-won advances of recent years.

[Perhaps if you win a MAJORITY of Senate seats, and even the Presidency, you, too, can name judicial nominees. But it looks like the American people like things just the way they are: Downies controlling nothing in D.C.]

The DSCC is also working hard every day to recruit the best candidates and build the best organization we need to win back our Democratic Majority in the Senate in 2006. But we can't wait until then to protect the federal courts. Stand with the DSCC today and help us stop this runaway Senate Republican Majority by joining this all-important campaign today.

Yours for our basic constitutional rights,

Ted Kennedy

We tried to ask someone who knew Tubby Kennedy well at one time, but she was unavailable for comment, having been murdered by Fatso.

`I wish Ted Kennedy would shut the fuck up and go back to raping and murdering...just what he and his entire family does best.'

Tubalard Kennedy murder victim Mary Jo Kopechne had no comment on Kennedy's plan to do nothing in the US Senate.

Slimebag Ward Churchill: Plagiarist, Violent-Prone...and He Still Has His Cushy Job

"Ward" Churchill, phony Indian, phony professor of something, phony everything, is now accused of plagiarism...and other stuff:

Prof accused of plagiarism

University of Colorado officials investigating embattled professor Ward Churchill received documents this week purporting to show that he plagiarized another professor's work.

Officials at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia sent CU an internal 1997 report detailing allegations about an article Churchill wrote.

"The article . . . is, in the opinion of our legal counsel, plagiarism," Dalhousie spokesman Charles Crosby said in summarizing the report's findings.

But this is not the end of the story, as the CU dunderheads who hired this imbecile now contemplate what to do about a Marxist liar in their employe:

Regents balk at Churchill deal; Plagiarism allegation stalls buyout proposal

Settlement negotiations between the University of Colorado and professor Ward Churchill stalled Friday because of renewed opposition by groups that want to see him fired even if it takes a court fight to make him go away.

"The ball is in CU's court," said Churchill attorney David Lane, who confirmed negotiations have hit a wall.

Late Thursday, a settlement was all but done after lawyers for Churchill and the university agreed on financial terms. But when revelations arose Friday about a plagiarism complaint against Churchill, regents balked.

Churchill critics, including former state Senate President John Andrews, and private citizens across Colorado contacted some elected regents or went public Friday to express their displeasure with any negotiated settlement with the professor who demonized some 9/11 victims as Nazis.

This scumbag is waiting to be fired so he and his ACLU buddies can file a multi-million dollar suit against the college. That this lowlife is being paid to teach utter nonsense, and his bosses cringe about firing his lying butt, is what is so ridiculous about higher education in America. It is run by whacko liberals, and that needs to end, and now.

Muslim Scumbag Terrorist Taught in the United States

It is bad enough that this country allows Muslims more rights and freedoms to do us damage than anywhere else...but now we discover than one of these people who was involved in the suicide bombing of a Tel Aviv nightclub recently actually taught at a college in the United States - and I bet he didn't teach Hebrew and Yiddish Studies:

Head of Islamic Jihad Taught Middle East Studies at US University

The terrorist behind the Stage Club in Tel Aviv over a week ago taught Middle East Studies at a University in the US before he moved to Syria.

47-year-old Ramadan Shallah is the head of Islamic Jihad who was caught on tape ordering the attack by telephone from Damascus. A transcript of the call was given to US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.

Shallah was a PhD student at Durham University, in England from 1985-1990, where he wrote his thesis on the merits of Islamic Banking.

Shallah then moved from Durham to the University of South Florida in Tampa, where he taught Middle Eastern studies and headed the World and Islam Studies Enterprise, a think tank affiliated with the university.

In 1995 he became the head of Islamic Jihad and is now wanted for murder by Israel.

This is what the Israeli people must deal with each and every day - murderers, thugs, and child killers. In short, the Palestinian people and their willing accomplices around the world, including the idiots who gave this scumbag a job at a college teaching American students.

Shameful. Simply shameful.

The Gentle Liberals Show Their Blue Side

Are liberals full of compassion, or just full of shit? Whichever, these liberals do seem to have a problem with free speech - especially when other people use it. So it is not shocking when a liberalis dooficus Americanus, the dreaded "liberal American doofus," tries to attack someone because they sport a Bush-Cheney 2004 sticker on their car:

Bumper sticker evokes road rage

TAMPA - Politics has always been divisive, splitting families and turning friend against friend.

This week, though, a Tampa woman learned that simple Bush-Cheney bumper sticker can bring trouble, if not danger, from a total stranger.

Police say Michelle Fernandez, 35, was chased for miles Tuesday by an irate 31-year-old Tampa man who cursed at her as he held up an anti-Bush sign and tried to run her off the road.

His sign, about the size of a business letter, read:

Never Forget Bush's Illegal Oil War Murdered Thousands in Iraq.

"I guess this was a disgruntled Democrat," Tampa Police spokesman Joe Durkin said. "Maybe he has that sign with him so he's prepared any time he comes up against a Republican."

Police arrested Nathan Alan Winkler at his home on N Cleveland Street near Hyde Park within an hour of the incident.

The judge should sentence this asshole to 1,000 hours of community service - working for local Republicans by stuffing envelopes. Then he has to stand on a street corner at a major intersection with a huge sign saying, "I AM AN INTOLERANT LIBERAL ASSHOLE, AND I AM SORRY FOR THAT. PLEASE FORGIVE ME FOR MY STUPIDITY."

Now THAT oughta teach this bonehead a thing or two.

John Kerry: Tanned, Rested and Ready to Get His Ass Handed to Him Again in 2008

John Kerry, famed in song and story for his absolutely hilarious campaign to be President of these United States, is holding his powder dry in one of his wife's Depends Undergarments© with the millions of dollars he stole from his first wife and his current nag, and is "gaining momentum" for the 2008 election, which he believes he will win easily - mainly because he won't be running against George W. Bush again:

Kerry fortifies war chest, keeps momentum for 2008

WASHINGTON - It was an intimate political gathering: Sen. John F. Kerry playing host to about 100 of his richest friends.

Kerry huddled with his top fund-raisers Monday night in his Georgetown mansion, preparing a massive money push aimed at keeping the defeated presidential nominee's ambitions alive.

"He wants to keep his team together," said one member of Kerry's national finance team. "He's looking ahead. He will be a strong voice in the party."

Strategists say Kerry will use his new political action committee, Keeping America's Promise, to promote his agenda, help party causes and keep his army of 2.7 million supporters together.

"It's something that has never been done before - in terms of a nominee coming back,'' said a Kerry source. "We're trying to stay relevant."

Wow - Kerry is trying to stay relevant. But that may hard to do for a man who has a longer face than a mule and is duller than a 2 year old cadaver.

But maybe the Downtroddens can have Sadsack Kerry in the front ranks trying to drum up support. It can only help Republicans if the public is reminded of this creep every day.

And Yet Another Liberal asks, "Could Bush be Right?"

My, this has to hurt. In the depth of the hearts of liberals lies bitter and unending hatred for George W. Bush - for, according to them, Bush is a Nazi, a liar, a drunk, a murderer, a war criminal, a terrorist, Adolf Hitler reborn.

So how it must pain the Left when some of their own come out to ask the question, "Could George W. Bush be Right?" Now steps forward Daniel Shorr, a radical lefty so left that he was on Richard Nixon's "enemies list" of the worst leftwing offenders. But somehow Shorr, either 80 or 90 years old, found reason when he asked:

The Iraq effect? Bush may have had it right

Something remarkable is happening in the Middle East - a grass-roots movement against autocracy without any significant "Great Satan" anti-American component.

In Beirut, the crowds that massed in the streets and forced the resignation of the Syrian-controlled government were demonstrating for kifaya (change) and freedom from the Syrian military that has occupied their country for more than a quarter of a century.

The passionate protest had apparently been triggered by the assassination of the popular former prime minister, Rafik Hariri - an assassination that the Lebanese assume was engineered by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

In Egypt, too, the streets have been alive with the sound of kifaya. Apparently seeking to divert the movement for change, President Hosni Mubarak announced last weekend a change in the election law to permit competitive elections. But his likeliest challenger, Ayman Nour, is in jail for allegedly forging election documents. And this week there were demonstrations in the streets of Cairo in his support.

In the past the United States would have avoided criticizing Mr. Mubarak, a key figure in the Israeli-Palestinian peace process. But now Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice has openly rebuked Mubarak and canceled a scheduled visit to Cairo.

In London this week, Secretary Rice said, "Events in Lebanon are moving in a very important direction."

The movements for democratic change in Egypt and Lebanon have happened since the successful Iraqi election on Jan. 30. And one can speculate on whether Iraq has served as a beacon for democratic change in the Middle East.

During the run-up to the invasion of Iraq, President Bush said that "a liberated Iraq can show the power of freedom to transform that vital region."

He may have had it right.

All I can say to that is: O-U-C-H, must that hurt the liberal cause.

The NYT: "For Bush, a Taste of Vindication in the Middle East"

The New York Times has been one of the worst American newspapers when it comes to reporting the news - for the past decade, they have been either making it up or slanting it so far to the left that it resembles The Daily Worker, the house organ of the American Communist Party. But once in a blue moon stories arise out of the paper that show how clueless the left overall is:

For Bush, a Taste of Vindication in Mideast

WASHINGTON, March 8 - He has gone out of his way not to crow, or even to take direct credit. But not quite two years after he began the invasion that toppled Saddam Hussein, and not quite two months after a second Inaugural Address in which he spoke of "ending tyranny," President Bush seems entitled to claim as he did on Tuesday that a "thaw has begun" in the broader Middle East.

At the very least, Mr. Bush is feeling the glow of the recent flurry of impulses toward democracy in Iraq, the Palestinian territories, Lebanon and even Egypt and Saudi Arabia, where events have put him on a bit of a roll and some of his sharpest critics on the defensive. It now seems just possible that Mr. Bush and aides like Deputy Defense Secretary Paul D. Wolfowitz were not wrong to argue that the "status quo of despotism cannot be ignored or appeased, kept in a box or cut off," as the president put it in a speech at the National Defense University here.

You know that when The Times begins to say this, other deeper, darker recesses of the Downtrodden Party and its willing participants are saying much the same thing. And that has to hurt real bad.

Chief UN Crook Kofi: The World Must Recognize Hezbollah

Kofi Annan, Chief Thief/Crook/Scumbag of the Disunited Nations, in an act of seemingly incredulity, said that the world, and the UN, must "recognize" the terrorist group Hezbollah as a political entity in Lebanon.

"Recognize" Hezbollah, Kofi? "Recognize" them as what - a murdering band of Islamic thugs who should be wiped off the planet? "Recognize" them? I want to bury them, Kofi, not "recognize" them.

U.N. must accept Hezbollah, Annan says

The United Nations must recognize Hezbollah as a force to be reckoned with in implementing the U.N. resolution calling for the withdrawal of all Syrian forces from Lebanon and the disarmament of the country's militias, Secretary-General Kofi Annan said Tuesday.

He was responding to a question about the disarmament of Hezbollah, which showed its strength Tuesday at a huge pro-Syrian rally in Beirut attended by hundreds of thousands of people who chanted anti-U.S. slogans. Two huge banners read in English: "Thank you Syria" and "No to foreign interference."

Annan said the world needs to accept that in every society different groups may hold different views.

This man is surely delusional. Why he is still in charge of a major world organization is anyone's guess.

But, let's try to see things as Kofi does. Surely Hezbollah has done some things we need to look at...in fact, here are some images of things they and their fellow Islamic terrorists have done to aid human beings all over:

And those are the most pleasant images we could put here.

What needs to be done is clear...

KOFI ANNAN MUST RESIGN - NOW!

Send a letter or e-mail to your US Representative or US Senator. Demand that the US government call for Kofi Annan to IMMEDIATELY step down as UN Secretary General.

Kofi Annan should be in prison for his corruption. But he belongs in hell for demanding power for terrorists and baby-killers.
